We've added a Database Selector to the Access Expense Copilot Skill, giving you greater control over which database is used for your AI-powered queries and analysis.
This enhancement allows you to easily switch between different databases during your Copilot conversations, ensuring you're always working with the right data source for your specific needs.
Key Benefits
Improved Flexibility: You can select the specific database you want to query without leaving your Copilot conversation.
Enhanced Accuracy: Ensure your queries target the correct data source for more precise results.
Streamlined Workflows: You can switch between databases seamlessly during your conversation to compare data or work across multiple environments.
Better Control: You can take charge of your data queries with clear visibility of which database is being used.
Access the Database or Instance selector
Log into you Evo platform just like you do when accessing Access Expense.
On the Evo page, click on the access button in the top left-hand side of your screen.
Select Copilot from the options displayed, then click on View all of your Evo Skills button and then select Expense from the Evo Skills screen.
Click on the drop-down arrow on the Change Instance field, then select the database you wish to ask Copilot about.
How it works
The Change Instance drop-down displays all the databases or instances that you have access to in alphabetical order and by default, the first database or instance is automatically selected as the default database which you can change.
Changing Databases when starting a new topic
When you are starting a new topic, the database or instance selector automatically resets to your first database in alphabetical order. You can change the database by clicking on the drop-down and selecting the database you wish to work with.
Changing Databases while in middle of a conversation
When you are in the middle of a conversation after having selected a database or instance, you can easily change your database by clicking on the folder icon at the bottom of the Copilot screen, and select the database you want to use.
Once you have selected a database, it will remain the default choice for that skill within the current conversation topic.
You can start a new new topic, but clicking on the New Topic button at the top of your Copilot screen and the database or instance selector will reset to the first database in alphabetical order and you will need to select your preferred database again.
