Error - 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' when importing users from a file

If you are getting the error message 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' then please see the following:

The email address field in expense is case sensitive and so it is likely that the email address being imported already exists, but with a letters of a different case. One way to check this would be to export the user list from the Import/Export screen and compare the addresses in excel or similar.

There was also an issue relating to importing users with a single vehicle record. This was fixed in April 2023, but if you find that the import fails with vehicles and works without them then please contact support.
