Error - 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' when importing users from a file

If you are getting the error 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object', the email address field in Access Expense is case sensitive. The email address you are importing may already exist with different capitalisation. Export the user list from the Import/Export screen and compare the addresses in Excel to check. There was also a known issue with importing users with a single vehicle record, fixed in April 2023. If the import fails with vehicles but works without them, contact our support team who will investigate. For help, see Get support in Access Expense.
