Mileage rates are set in Mileage Classes.
Please note that HMRC Mileage class rates cannot be edited as these are updated automatically when new rates are published.
To Create or Modify a Mileage Rate:
In the Settings area, select Mileage Classes.
Click the Actions button, and choose Edit for the required class.
Use the Add Mileage Rate button to add a new rate, entering the Date, Distance, Rate and VATable rate as necessary. Then click OK to save.
Edit an existing rate using the pencil icon at the right hand end, amending the necessary fields and clicking OK to save.
You can add distance thresholds at which the rate changes by using the Distance From and Distance To fields if required.
It is not necessary to Save the Mileage Class record unless changes have been made to the class itself, so choosing any other menu item will take away from this screen.
