There is no way to make journey planner mandatory in Access Expense. The journey planner uses Google Maps live data, so the route calculated at the time of claiming may differ from the route actually travelled. Approvers can identify where the calculated and actual mileage differ, as this is indicated by the 'Distance Modified' tag.
